AN OPPORTUNITY FOR CHANGE

Opportunity House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Vacaville, California, dedicated to addressing the needs of Solano County’s homeless population. Their mission is to provide essential support, resources, and shelter while empowering individuals toward self-sufficiency. Opportunity House envisions a community where collaborative, locally driven solutions connect transitional-age youth, women, men, and families with the resources they need to break the cycle of homelessness.

In their 2024 annual impact statement, Opportunity House reported providing 12,366 nights of shelter, serving 37,090 meals, and distributing 1,676 hygiene kits.
